Keep up-to-date with many rescue organizations' events using the Cats Ahoy all inclusive calendar! Many organizations' events are listed, not just those with Cats Ahoy, so this is a great way to keep in touch with what's going on with all the rescues!
Cats Ahoy uses customized vans filled with cat cages to transport cats to different locations in the Calgary and neighbouring regions. Once on location visitors may view the cats, spend some personal time with them in our visiting rooms within the vans, and if it's a match we can perform the adoption right on the spot! If we're attending an event like a fair, we can make arrangements with you to hold your new adopted kitty until the end of the event when you're ready to go home, or return the kitty to its original rescue and you can arrange a pick up with the kitty's original rescue.
Once we have some adoption or fundraising events scheduled, we'll post them here! You may also wish to join our email list, to receive notice of upcoming events by email. You can also sign up for a membership, and become an official Cats Ahoy Shipmate! Shipmates receive notice of events, and a copy of our quarterly newsletter (PDF format). Your membership also supports the capital fundraising campaign for our custom adoption vans!
If you have an event that you would like Cats Ahoy to attend, please contact us! We'll be available for school functions, fairs, community events, and promotional events for businesses. Our custom vans will draw a crowd! All events (and the event hosts!) will also be featured here on our website.
